Poland hosts summer cinema programme and Animator festival featuring Oscar-winning director

The Kinie Przemko cinema in Poland will run a summer series from July 23, 2026, showing the animated film “David” (South Africa/USA) at 11:00 and 17:00, followed by the comedy‑drama “Do usług szanownej pani” (France/Luxembourg) and the comedy “Czym chata bogata” (Belgium/France) in its “Kino w ogrodzie” evenings.

At the same time, the 19th International Animated Film Festival Animator in Poznań is featuring a special appearance by local Oscar winner Maciek Szczerbowski. The festival, which runs until 12 July, hosts over 300 films, talks, workshops and a public‑choice award, with Szczerbowski discussing his animation process and answering audience questions.
