Poland implements educational reforms and local development initiatives

In Poland, local and national initiatives are focusing on educational development to address demographic and systemic challenges. In Krosno, the city is utilizing the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Program to treat education as a strategic investment to combat depopulation and the exodus of young residents. The city has focused on creating spaces like the Youth Activity Center to provide young people with opportunities for development and social influence.

At the national level, the Council of Ministers has included a legislative project to amend the Education Law. This initiative aims to integrate Specialized Centers Supporting Inclusive Education (SCWEW) into the permanent systemic support framework for teachers in kindergartens and schools. The goal is to ensure high-quality, coordinated assistance to facilitate the full participation of children and youth in educational life and prepare them for independence in adulthood.
