From July 2026, electricity customers in Poland will receive bills designed for easier reading. The new format places the total amount due, the cost of consumed energy and distribution fees prominently on the first page, separating the price of electricity from other charges. Electronic delivery will be the default, with paper copies available on request.

The changes are part of a deregulation package prepared by the Ministry of Climate and Environment and were signed into law by the president. They also shorten the deadline for installing meters for new connections to 21 days and simplify reporting requirements for energy firms, aiming to boost consumer awareness and market competition.
