Polish towns implement new traffic measures and roundabouts amid roadworks

Several municipalities across Poland have introduced temporary traffic arrangements and construction projects to improve road safety and manage ongoing works. In Jedlicz, a new roundabout is being built at a busy intersection, funded with more than 665,000 zł, with demolition and temporary lane narrowing already in place. Gniezno's city council is discussing a low‑cost “pinezkowy” roundabout for the Reymont avenue junction, a prefabricated solution that can be installed within days for a few tens of thousands of zł.

Banino residents have been asked not to park at the entrance of Bajeczna Street on 27 July while repairs are carried out between 07:00 and 16:00. Ząbki will close a section of Wolności Street from 27 July for four weeks while a new pavement and markings are installed. In the Trzebnicka area of Wrocław, traffic has been changed to one‑way and several tram lines rerouted as track modernisation proceeds, with a 12 million zł investment expected to finish by mid‑September.

Police have begun enforcing the square B‑43 speed‑limit signs, which can now lead to driver‑license loss for excessive speeding. Meanwhile, Kraków hosted a historic ride of the restored Maximum 325 tram from Wrocław on 26 July, offering a weekend attraction on line 0.

All measures aim to minimise congestion, enhance safety and accommodate infrastructure upgrades throughout the affected towns.
