Poland infrastructure updates involve road and transit changes

Various infrastructure and transportation updates are being implemented across Poland, involving road construction, railway maintenance, and public transit adjustments.

Road projects include the construction of a new walking route along the Węgierka river in Przasnysz, a 7.6 million PLN road reconstruction in Wola Mielecka, and the near-completion of the S1 expressway section between Bieruń and Oświęcim. Other local road works involve the modernization of DW 742 in the Piotrków district, the renovation of Lawendowa Street in Polkowice, and sidewalk construction in Podłęże.

Public transit and rail services are facing several changes. In Kraków, Tyniecka Street is reopening earlier than expected, while in Szczecin, tram line suspensions due to renovations in Aleja Powstańców Wielkopolskich will be replaced by increased bus services. In Poznań, a railway crossing on Starołęcka Street will close for repairs, and in Warsaw, WKD rail services will experience weekend disruptions. Additionally, Koleje Mazowieckie is implementing schedule changes affecting several lines, including R2, R7, and R8, often involving replacement bus services.
