Poland addresses youth mental health, safety, and wellness
Various initiatives across Poland are targeting the well-being and development of young people. In Wrocław, the #nabieraMYodwagi campaign, organized by the Wroclaw Medical University in collaboration with the city magistrate, held workshops for hundreds of students. The program focused on healthy lifestyle choices, the impact of social media on body image, nutritional myths, and practical skills like CPR.
Educational and social efforts are also addressing psychological crises and legal responsibility. The film ‘Camino dla opornych’ was premiered in Warsaw to spark discussions regarding youth crises and the role of adults in supporting them. Meanwhile, local debates in Radziejów and educational sessions in Kurzętnik have focused on teaching students about violence prevention and legal accountability.
Further support is being provided through volunteer training in Gdańsk to improve engagement with youth, and discussions in Bełchatów regarding emotional regulation and identity crises among young adults.
