Poland initiates deportation of foreign nationals for public safety threats

Polish law enforcement authorities have taken steps to deport two foreign nationals following repeated criminal activity and threats to public safety.

In Piotrków Trybunalski, police detained a 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen who had been residing in Poland for approximately 10 years. The individual had a history of property crimes and public order offenses. Due to a lack of behavioral improvement, the Municipal Police Commander requested his mandatory deportation through the Border Guard in Łódź.

In Kutno, a 51-year-old Georgian citizen was also detained and handed over to the Border Guard. The individual had recently committed several offenses, including operating a motor vehicle despite a court-ordered driving ban. Consequently, he has been issued a five-year ban on re-entering Poland and will be escorted back to his country of origin.
