Poland initiatives target digital exclusion and resilience in youth

Initiatives in Poland are addressing the digital divide and digital resilience among youth. The Programmer's Day conference, organized by the Sarigato Foundation with Allegro as a strategic partner, aims to combine IT career development with social support. The event includes a fundraiser for the Hakersi project, which provides children in foster care and social care facilities with training in programming languages like Java and Python, artificial intelligence, robotics, and mathematics.

In a separate effort, the Center for Socio-Economic Analysis (CASE) is hosting a webinar focused on the digital resilience of children and adolescents in rural areas. Based on research involving over 100 children and educational workshops with 500 participants, the project examines how rural youth navigate the digital world and face online challenges. The initiative provides recommendations for schools and policymakers, alongside practical educational materials to help educators strengthen digital competence and emotional support systems for young people.
