Poland Invests in Ostrołęka Cultural Club Renovation and Olsztynek Sports Center
The city of Ostrołęka signed a contract with construction firm Zakład Remontowo Budowlany KAM‑BUD Kamionowski Spółka Jawna worth 3,472,406.64 zł to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the OCZKO cultural club. The works will replace electrical wiring, install LED lighting, upgrade sanitary, water and heating systems, improve accessibility with a stair platform and widened doorways, and equip the building with modern multimedia installations and new furniture.
In Olsztynek, a ceremony on 5 August marked the completion of the first stage of the new Centre for Sport and Health. The event was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education Marcin Kulasek and local officials. The contractor REMBUD completed earthworks, foundations, the hall structure, roof, external joinery, and internal water, sewage and drainage connections. The two‑storey facility will feature a multifunctional hall for handball, basketball, volleyball, futsal, tennis, badminton and unihockey, with seating for 500 spectators that can be expanded to about 1,000 for larger events.
