Poland Issues Child Helpline Numbers and Phone Scam Safety Guidance

Poland provides several free, anonymous, 24‑hour telephone helplines for children, youth and adults. The Children’s Helpline (800 12 12 12) offers psychological and legal support, while the Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę line (116 111) and the Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci line (800 119 119) allow callers to discuss personal problems, report abuse, or seek crisis assistance.

Polish police warn that unknown callers often impersonate bank employees, police officers or other institutions to obtain personal data, passwords, BLIK codes or to request money transfers. They advise never to share such information, to end the call if pressured, and to verify the caller by independently contacting the institution using official contact details.
