Health services in Gdańsk offered free skin‑lesion checks on Brzeźno pier, emphasizing early detection of UV‑related cancers. Home‑security advisories reminded residents to lock doors, activate alarms and arrange neighbour watch before holidays. Additional tips covered lawn care during heatwaves, emphasizing early‑morning watering and higher mowing. Together, these actions aim to reduce accidents, health incidents and crime during the peak vacation period.
