Poland issues travel warnings for Saudi Arabia and Spain

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued critical travel warnings for both Saudi Arabia and parts of Spain due to security and weather concerns.

In Saudi Arabia, the ministry has raised the travel warning level to the fourth and highest tier, advising against all travel to the country. This decision follows armed attacks attributed to Houthi rebels, including strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Reports indicate significant casualties from these attacks, which have also caused major disruptions to air traffic.

Separately, a weather alert has been issued for Spain. An orange alert is in effect for the regions of Catalonia, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands, warning of heavy rainfall, storms, and a high risk of flooding that could threaten people and property.
