Poland is facing severe weather conditions, including intense storms, heavy rainfall, and strong winds. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued second-degree warnings for the Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie, and parts of the Lubuskie provinces. Forecasts indicate rainfall between 30 and 40 mm, with local peaks reaching up to 55 mm, and wind gusts up to 75 km/h.

In response to the threat of flooding and storm damage, the Ministry of National Defense has placed the Territorial Defense Forces (WOT) on high alert. Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that the call-up time for several brigades has been reduced to six hours to ensure rapid response.

The Government Security Centre (RCB) has issued alerts to residents in Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie, and Lubuskie, warning of potential flooding and advising people to stay away from swollen rivers. Hydrological warnings are also in effect for the Warta river basin due to rapid water level increases.
