Poland launches e‑Doręczenia service in mObywatel app
From June 2026, Polish citizens will be able to send and receive official electronic correspondence through the e‑Doręczenia platform directly in the mObywatel mobile app. The service, an electronic equivalent of registered mail with proof of receipt, will be rolled out gradually and become available to all app users by the end of June. It offers encrypted, identity‑verified delivery, instant email notifications, tracking of shipments, and the ability to store documents in a single online inbox, reducing the need for physical post office visits.
The rollout follows the 1 January 2026 mandate that made e‑Doręczenia the standard method for delivering official documents, superseding the older ePUAP system. Users must have an electronic address for delivery (ADE) and an active e‑Doręczenia inbox to participate.
