Poland launches lakeside festival and plans major spa resort
A summer festival called MAZOpiknik was held on 18 July at Lake Zegrzyńskie near Nieporęt, offering swimming, sailing, beach amenities, playgrounds and water‑sports rentals under the supervision of local lifeguards.
Separately, the municipality of Kazimierza Wielka announced a tender for a 4.5‑hectare site to build a modern spa and health‑resort complex, featuring tropical pools under glass domes, extensive sauna facilities and 500 guest rooms. The project, slated to be built over five years, includes supporting infrastructure such as a new water‑balance tank and a €240 million road improvement on DK74 to ease transit traffic.
