Polish towns allocate over 50 million zł to modern sports and cultural facilities

Wrocław will add a sports complex to Primary School No. 90 on Orzechowa Street, including two acrylic‑surface tennis courts, a large gym with dividable courts, beach‑volleyball fields and a renovated traffic‑school area. The project, part of the "Green Gaj" programme, is budgeted at several tens of millions of zł.

Łódź is finalising six new school sport halls – at ten local schools – with covered courts, modern changing rooms and shower facilities. The investment totals more than 34 million zł and is slated for completion at the start of the next school year.

In Gniezno County, a tender has been launched for a full‑size football field at Special School No. 2, valued at over 6 million zł, of which 2.5 million zł comes from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

The village of Kornice opened a 24 × 44 m multifunctional EPDM‑surfaced field on 856 900 zł, complete with a 10 m³ underground retention tank and surrounding playground amenities.

Rajcza signed a 1.79 million zł contract to revamp its Centre of Culture and Sport, creating a modern venue for workshops, cultural events and educational activities. All projects are aimed at expanding local sports, recreation and community integration.
