Poland launches nationwide mental health support campaign
The Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs has launched a nationwide mental health campaign titled ‘To, co czujesz, jest ważne’ (What you feel is important). The initiative aims to encourage adults in crisis to seek help by promoting the free and anonymous helpline 116 123 and the website 116sos.pl.
Running from September 28 through November 30, 2026, the campaign is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Digital Affairs, NASK-PIB, and the ‘Niebieska Linia’ Institute of Health Psychology. The project seeks to destigmatize emotional struggles and emphasize that individuals do not need to wait for a situation to become critical before asking for assistance.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski stated that difficult emotions are a part of life and should not be a source of shame. The campaign utilizes digital solutions to make psychological support more accessible to those feeling overwhelmed.
