Poland logistics wages rise amid tight warehouse labor market

A Grafton Recruitment report shows that Poland’s logistics sector is experiencing a sharp increase in wages as companies compete for warehouse staff. The highest salaries, reaching up to 32,000 zł per month, are offered for managerial, technical and specialist positions, while firms continue to struggle to fill basic operational roles such as warehouse workers, forklift operators and shift managers. The report highlights strong demand for employees skilled in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and fluent in foreign languages.

Regional demand remains concentrated in Central Poland, Lower Silesia, Upper Silesia and Mazovia, with Lower Silesia overtaking Central Poland in available warehouse space. In 2025, demand for warehouse space hit 6.6 million m², keeping Poland second in Europe after Germany. However, the overall economic climate index for transport and storage fell to –3.4 in March 2026, driven by higher fuel costs and instability in commodity markets linked to the Middle‑East conflict. Developers are now prioritising quality, energy‑efficient projects to match real tenant needs.
