Poland lottery winners claim multi-million PLN prizes

Recent lottery drawings in Poland have resulted in significant payouts for several winners. In the Eurojackpot drawing on August 11, no main jackpot was hit, but a player in Poland won over 560,000 PLN. Other major European winners included those in Germany and Finland, who secured second-tier prizes of approximately 400,889.80 EUR. Due to the lack of a jackpot winner, the Eurojackpot prize pool is expected to rise to 70 million PLN for the next drawing.

In the Lotto drawing held on the same day, a single winner matched all six numbers, securing a prize of approximately 6.35 million PLN. After a 10 percent tax deduction handled by Totalizator Sportowy, the winner will receive roughly 5.7 million PLN. Additionally, Lotto ticket prices are scheduled to increase from 3 PLN to 5 PLN starting August 18, 2026.
