Poland celebrates National Independence Day with regional events

Various municipalities across Poland are organizing diverse programs to commemorate the 107th anniversary of the country regaining its independence. Celebrations include patriotic concerts, religious services, and traditional ceremonies.

In Trzcińsko-Zdrój, festivities feature a patriotic concert titled “Na Skrzydłach Wolności” and a ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Wieliszew plans to attempt a record for the largest number of participants in a communal polonaise dance, alongside a folk culture festival.

Sports and outdoor activities are also central to the commemorations. Elbląg is hosting the XII Elbląg Independence Run, including a dedicated race for children. In Rawicz, a 28 km cycling rally will take participants through scenic routes, while Sędziejowice is organizing a run and march. Other local activities include patriotic gatherings around campfires and community meals.
