Poland median gross salary reaches 7,530.45 PLN in March 2026

Data from Statistics Poland reveals that the median gross salary in Poland for March 2026 was 7,530.45 PLN, while the average salary reached 9,698.95 PLN.

Earnings varied significantly based on employer size. In companies with at least 1,000 employees, the median was 8,695.04 PLN. Conversely, in the smallest entities with up to 9 employees, the median was 4,806 PLN, which matched the minimum wage at that time.

The report also highlighted a gender pay gap. The median salary for men was 7,657.56 PLN, approximately 1.7% higher than the overall median, while the median for women was 7,407.10 PLN. The largest disparity was observed in the finance and insurance sector, where the gap reached 43.4%.
