Poland men's volleyball team secures spot in Nations League final in Ningbo, China
Poland's men's volleyball squad completed the intercontinental round of the Nations League with a dominant performance, losing only one set and finishing second in the overall standings with 29 points. The team earned a place in the final tournament, scheduled for 29 July–2 August in Ningbo, China, where they will face Ukraine in the quarter‑finals.
Coach Nikola Grbić praised the collective effort, noting that the team did not rely on individual stars. Despite Poland's success, no Polish player was selected among the individual awardees for the intercontinental phase, highlighting the side‑line nature of individual recognitions compared with the team's overall strength.
The victory over the United States (3‑0) and the consistent play throughout the Chicago stage ensured Poland's advancement, setting up a clash with Ukraine and a potential semi‑final against the winner of the Slovenia‑Turkey bracket.
