Poland men's volleyball team stays atop FIVB ranking after Nations League wins

Poland entered the VNL round in Gliwice as joint leader of the FIVB world ranking. After Italy’s 0‑3 loss to Ukraine and Poland’s 3‑2 victory over Turkey, the Polish team extended its lead, now holding a 18.94‑point advantage over Italy.

The updated ranking shows Poland with 374.85 points, Italy on 355.91, followed by the United States, Brazil and Japan. Maintaining the top spot is crucial for Olympic qualification and for securing a place in the VNL final tournament. Poland’s next league match is scheduled against Germany on 27 June.
