Poland's National Labour Inspectorate sees surge in discrimination complaints

Experts suggest this rise reflects growing employee awareness and a greater willingness to report rights violations rather than a sudden decline in working conditions. The most frequent allegation involves gender-based pay discrimination.

If current trends continue, total complaints for 2026 could exceed 2,000. This follows a period three years ago when annual complaints numbered 659. New labor regulations set to take effect in November 2026 may further influence these numbers by defining specific compensation for violations of equal treatment.
