Górnik Zabrze has emerged as the leader of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa following a 2-0 victory over Korona Kielce. Peter Federico secured the win with both goals, including a strike in stoppage time. This victory marks Górnik's seventh win in eight matches, a performance comparable to their historic 1963 season.

The club's current form has drawn significant praise. Former Polish international Wojciech Kowalczyk lauded manager Michał Gasparik, suggesting his leadership is exceptional.
