Poland: New legislative proposal targets long-term rental market

The Confederation has prepared a legislative proposal aimed at regulating the long-term rental market in Poland. The project seeks to increase protections for property owners, addressing concerns that current laws favor tenants over landlords.

The proposal also aims to simplify eviction procedures for insolvent tenants or those who occupy a property with more people than agreed upon in the contract. Additionally, the legislation seeks to expedite contract terminations in cases of non-payment or failure to maintain the property properly.
