Poland offers electricity subsidies for disabled residents
In Poland, eligible individuals may receive up to 600 PLN annually in electricity cost subsidies. This support, provided as a monthly 100 PLN reimbursement, is specifically designated for persons with disabilities who use oxygen concentrators or respirators in a home setting.
To qualify, applicants must have a recognized disability or, for those under 16, a disability certificate. The medical necessity of the equipment must be confirmed by a professional, such as a doctor, physiotherapist, or nurse. The program is implemented under the ‘Active Local Government’ E-Area. Applicants must not have outstanding debts to the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People (PFRON) or local family assistance centers.
