Poland sets 2027 minimum wage and hourly rate

The Polish Council of Ministers has finalized the minimum wage and minimum hourly rate for 2027. Starting January 1, 2027, the minimum monthly wage will rise to 4,950 PLN gross, representing an increase of approximately 3% (144 PLN) compared to 2026. The minimum hourly rate for civil law contracts will increase to 32.30 PLN, a rise of about 2.87%.

These adjustments will impact various social security benefits, including the preferential ZUS rate, health insurance contributions, and the limit for unregistered activities. The minimum wage also serves as a baseline for calculating sickness benefits, social security fines, and severance pay during collective redundancies.
