Sixth Markowy Festival Opens in Swinoujście with Star‑Studded Music and Theatre Line‑up

Markowy Festival Swinoujście Polish music theatre performances summer cultural event

The 6th edition of the Markowy Festival will take place in Swinoujście from 12 to 16 August 2026. The programme combines concerts by leading Polish artists, theatrical performances, festival talks with cultural figures and a range of free outdoor events. Highlights include the opening concert “Męskie Brzmienia” in the Mark Grechuta Amphitheatre, a women‑focused show featuring Kasia Kowalska, Ewelina Flinta and others, a comedy staged by Tomasz Dutkiewicz, a jubilee concert by Mietek Szcześniak, and a final musical “100 lat polskiej piosenki” by Studio Buffo. Tickets for the amphitheatre and theatre shows are priced at 80 zł (64 zł for holders of the Wyspiarz cards). All events in the Concert Shell, Festival Talks and the gallery exhibition are free of charge. The festival is hosted by Artur Orzech and coordinated by film and theatre critic Łukasz Maciejewski.
