Poland plans mandatory school trips to historical and military sites
The Polish government is preparing new regulations that would make certain school trips mandatory for students. Under the proposed rules, primary and secondary schools would be required to organize at least one excursion during a student's educational cycle.
These trips would focus on patriotic education, targeting locations related to Polish history, national heritage, and cultural landmarks. The proposed itinerary includes visits to museums, historical sites, and local memorials. Additionally, students may visit military units to learn about military service.
The Sejm has maintained this obligation in the legislation, and the government has announced plans to provide financial support to educational institutions to facilitate these activities.
