Polish prosecutors have announced that approximately 125 million PLN has been secured so far, though this is significantly less than the estimated 350 million PLN in client losses. In a recent development, police in Katowice seized 11 luxury vehicles valued at approximately 4 million PLN belonging to a suspect.

Legal proceedings are ongoing, with prosecutors meeting with the Estonian liquidator of BB Trade Estonia OÜ to discuss identifying and securing assets to compensate victims. Meanwhile, the Polish Ministry of Finance has clarified that investors may still be liable for a 19 percent income tax on virtual currency gains, even if they have not yet recovered their funds from the platform. This is because tax liability is triggered by the exchange of digital assets for fiat currency, regardless of whether the funds were successfully withdrawn to a bank account.

Victims have until October 27, 2026, to submit their claims to the Estonian liquidator. Failure to meet this deadline may result in significantly lower priority for repayment.
