Poland proposes 2027 minimum wage of 4,950 zł and 3% public‑sector pay rise

The Polish government announced its proposal for the 2027 labour market. The minimum monthly wage is slated to rise to roughly 4,950 zł‑4,986 zł gross (about a 3% increase) and the minimum hourly rate for civil‑law contracts to about 32.30‑32.60 zł. In parallel, the cabinet suggested a 3% increase in salaries for public‑sector employees and a pension indexation of at least 3.5% (with a longer‑term target of 20% real growth in average earnings). The proposals will be examined by the Council of Social Dialogue by 15 July; if the council does not reach a common position, the government will make the final decision. These measures are part of a broader package that also includes projected macro‑economic indicators for 2027.
