Poland proposes raising PCC tax exemption limit to 3,000 PLN
The Polish Council of Ministers has adopted a draft amendment to the Civil Law Transactions Tax (PCC) Act. The proposal aims to triple the current exemption limit for the purchase of movable property, raising it from 1,000 PLN to 3,000 PLN.
If the legislation passes through the Sejm, the changes are intended to take effect on January 1, 2027. The adjustment is designed to reduce administrative barriers for small second-hand transactions on platforms like Vinted and Allegro, as purchases up to the new threshold would no longer require a tax payment or a formal declaration.
