Poland ranks second in EU for mathematics in PISA study
According to the 2025 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) conducted by the OECD, Polish students have achieved high rankings in several key academic areas within the European Union.
In mathematics, Polish pupils earned a mean score of 484, placing them second in the EU behind Estonia and 12th globally. This performance surpassed scores from the United Kingdom, Canada, Finland, Germany, and the United States. In reading comprehension, Poland ranked third in the EU with a mean score of 482. In science, Polish students ranked fifth in the EU with a mean score of 495.
