Poland Research Infrastructure Map includes new strategic labs

The Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the official results for the inclusion of strategic research infrastructures into the Poland Research Infrastructure Map (PMIB). This map identifies key laboratories and systems of national or international importance characterized by scientific excellence.

Several major institutions have secured placements on the map. The Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences is part of two key projects: PolCeTh, a consortium focused on developing and validating advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) and cell therapies, and POL-OPENSCREEN, a platform for biological chemistry and screening to identify new therapeutic compounds.

Additionally, the Warsaw University of Technology has had six of its infrastructures included. These include the PL 6G national laboratory for 6G networks and services, and the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies, which focuses on high-tech fields such as microelectronics, photonics, quantum technologies, and space research.
