Poland rolls out summer family‑focused educational programs in Tatra National Park and Opole Village Museum
The Tatra National Park has launched a new cycle of its "Letnie PoSzlaki" summer trail series. Hourly educational talks are held from 11:00 to 15:00 at eight popular sites within the park, and guided family hikes run on Mondays and Wednesdays. Free evening sessions at the park’s Education Centre cover topics such as Tatra wildlife, storms, pastoralism, peatlands, poisonous plants and mountain safety, while Thursday workshops include glass‑painting and guided tours of Kuźnice.
The Museum of Opole Village (Muzeum Wsi Opolskiej) is running a "Wakacyjne Spotkania z Twórcami Ludowymi" program throughout July and August. Every weekend, folk‑craft masters demonstrate traditional techniques – lace making, spindle spinning, regional painting, basket weaving, paper‑flower creation and cross‑stitch – and interact with visitors. The events are designed for families and anyone interested in preserving Opole’s cultural heritage.
