Poland school calendar 2026/2027 holiday dates announced

The Ministry of National Education has outlined the holiday schedule for the 2026/2027 school year in Poland. Key breaks include a winter holiday period from December 23 to December 31, 2026, and a spring break related to Easter from March 25 to March 30, 2027.

Due to the calendar alignment, students may experience extended breaks. The winter period, combined with New Year's Day and the Epiphany holiday on January 6, could result in up to 12 consecutive days without classes, potentially extending to 21 days if school directors designate additional non-instructional days.

Other notable dates include Independence Day on November 11, 2026, which falls on a Wednesday. Parents are advised to check specific school schedules, as individual directors have the authority to set additional days off.
