Poland sees surge in high‑pay technical jobs and IT certifications

Polish employers are increasingly dropping formal degree requirements and focusing on practical skills for technical roles. Analyses show that about one‑fifth of job offers no longer demand a university diploma, and 17 % of those listings promise salaries of 9‑10 thousand PLN gross per month. In‑demand occupations include automatics, electricians, electromechanics, mechanics, drivers, construction specialists and IT professionals.

Industry experts highlight the growing importance of certifications to validate expertise. In cybersecurity, credentials such as CISSP and CISM are prized; cloud computing roles favour AWS, Azure and Microsoft certifications; and programming positions value Python (PCEP), Java (OCPJD) and Scrum (CSM) qualifications. These certifications are linked to higher earnings and better job prospects in the expanding tech and technical labour market.
