Poland sends archery representative to Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics

The Polish archery representative, Mikołaj Stankiewicz, is preparing to compete in the IV Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. Following a formal farewell ceremony at the John Paul II Olympic Center in Warsaw, Stankiewicz and his coach, Serhiy Antonov, highlighted their intensive preparations involving technical adjustments and equipment testing.

Polish Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki, noted that the 24-person Polish delegation is part of a larger event featuring 2,700 athletes from 207 national delegations across 25 disciplines. Rutnicki emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and the Polish Olympic Committee to support young athletes as they face this significant international challenge.
