Poland sets final 2026 fuel rebate and KPO payment deadlines for farmers

From 1 August 2026, Poland will open the second and last application period for the excise‑rebate on diesel used in agricultural production. Farmers can claim up to 162.80 zł per hectare, 5.92 zł per average pig, and 59.20 zł per large livestock unit for fuel purchased between 1 February and 31 July 2026. Payments will be made between 1 and 31 October 2026. This is the final round under the current paper‑based system; a reform planned for 1 January 2027 will transfer the process to the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) with a single electronic filing period in February.

Separately, the deadline for completing projects and submitting payment requests under the National Recovery Plan (KPO) is 31 July 2026. The requirement applies to farmers, fishers, food‑processing firms, and projects linked to warehouses, distribution centres and wholesale markets. Applicants must upload full documentation, including invoices and payment confirmations, to ARiMR’s online platform. Errors or missing documents may delay disbursements. Agricultural schools have an extended deadline to October for advance requests, but the main KPO payment filing ends on 31 July.
