Poland hosts youth cycling championships and ultramarathons in summer 2026
The Polish town of Raszków will hold the Polish Primary School Road Cycling Championships on 27‑28 June 2026, bringing together young cyclists from across the country. Road closures are planned on the Raszków‑Szczurawice route on Saturday and the Raszków‑Moszczanka‑Skrzebowa‑Głogowa circuit on Sunday, with police and fire services advising motorists to follow instructions.
In Boguszów‑Gorce, the 36th Sudecka 100 ultramarathon is scheduled for 26 June 2026, featuring a 100 km night race, a 42 km night mountain marathon and a 21 km morning half‑marathon. Registration is open online until 25 June.
An additional ultramarathon, the 12th Ultramaraton Powstańca 1944, will take place on 2 August 2026 in Wieliszew, covering 63 km solo or in relay, honoring the Warsaw Uprising.
Earlier in July, the International Cycling Race “Solidarności” and Olympians will pass through the Łask region from 1‑4 July 2026, with 150 riders competing in stages that include Łódź‑Jaworzno. The event is linked to an educational campaign promoting circular‑economy practices.
