Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz announced that all documents concerning the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine between 2022 and 2026 will be declassified following consultations with Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He also directed the Military Counter‑Intelligence Service to investigate whether any classified information was deliberately disclosed, naming former defence minister Mariusz Błaszczak as a potential subject of inquiry.

At the same time, Ukraine’s Center for Counter‑Disinformation warned that Russia plans to publish fabricated documents about World War II events in Volyn in order to strain Polish‑Ukrainian relations. The warning cited the FSB’s Aleksandr Bortnikow as overseeing the operation. The alert comes amid heightened tensions after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honoured the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), a move criticised by Polish officials and seen by Moscow as an opportunity to fuel historic disputes.
