Poland hosts various professional, scientific, and anniversary events
Various professional, scientific, and commemorative events are taking place across Poland.
In Lubin, a large-scale event organized by the FSWO agency celebrated the 65th anniversary of KGHM Polska Miedź and the 80th anniversary of the Zagłębie Lubin football club. The event, themed ‘Copper has many voices’, engaged over 10,000 participants through industrial showcases and a pyrotechnic display at the KGHM Zagłębie Arena.
In the scientific and technical sectors, several major conferences are scheduled or have recently occurred. The High Speed Railway Poland 2026 conference is set for October in Łódź, focusing on the development of high-speed rail and the Central Communication Port (CPK). The 33rd International Cartographic Conference (ICC 2027) has been announced for Warsaw, marking a return to Poland after 45 years. Additionally, the 20th National Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering was held in Wrocław, and the PotamON conference in Arłamów addressed the protection of flowing waters.
Other notable activities include the Expler Logistics 2026 conference in Kraków, which highlighted automation and AI in logistics, and the ‘Zaprojektowani 2026’ design meetings in Kraków, focusing on the perception of interior architecture and neuro-architecture.
