Poland to move 2026 winter clock change to earlier date

Poland will shift the annual switch to winter (standard) time to the night of 24‑25 October 2026, moving the change one day earlier than in previous years. The adjustment will see clocks set back from 03:00 to 02:00, following a recent announcement that this year's change will also occur earlier than usual.

The move comes amid ongoing debate in the European Union about abolishing bi‑annual clock changes.
