Poland: Two men arrested following violent attacks on minors

Two separate violent incidents involving attacks on minors have been reported in Poland.

In Wołomin, a 41-year-old man faces six charges following an attack on a 13-year-old girl in a city park on August 2. The assailant reportedly targeted the girl because he was dissatisfied with how she was using an electric scooter. Local police have collected evidence and the case is proceeding through the judicial system.

In Legnica, a 44-year-old man was arrested after attacking a 17-year-old boy and a female bystander who attempted to intervene. The assailant reportedly tried to forcibly take the teenager's corrective glasses. A court has ordered three months of temporary detention for the suspect, who faces potential prison sentences of up to 15 years.
