Poland upgrades community football fields in Suwałki and Ostrem

In Suwałki, the city council secured free public use of a football pitch at the athletics stadium while the original Olsztyńska field undergoes renovation. The mayor approved access from Monday to Friday, 8:00‑20:00, and weekends, 10:00‑18:00, subject to scheduled training and events.

In Ostrem, a comprehensive renovation installed a new asphalt surface and reinforced the pitch slope, improving safety for children and youth. The project, funded by the Village Fund and municipal resources, prepares the site for a future modern tartan surface and aims to keep the field usable without costly repairs.
