Poland upgrades local sports facilities in Warsaw, Grodzisk, Poznań and Strzałkowo

The Białołęka district of Warsaw is renovating its Orlik football field, replacing the surface with a modern, safe turf, installing floodlights for evening play and upgrading technical infrastructure. The project is overseen by district officials including Mayor Anna Majchrzak.

In Grodzisk Mazowiecki, the municipality is proceeding with a new stadium stand valued at about 33 million zł, approved by the Polish Football Association. The tender will run for three months, with construction expected to last up to two years, after which a heated pitch may be added and a conditional PZPN licence pursued.

Poznań’s city‑run investment company is building a new sports complex on the former Orlik site at Armii Poznań. Funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the complex will feature a synthetic football field, a multifunctional court, a tennis court, changing rooms, lighting upgrades and optional facilities such as a skate park.

Strzałkowo officially opened a new athletics track and football field, a project costing 1 165 000 zł, half of which was provided by the Greater Poland regional government. "Gmina Strzałkowo wspiera sport" said local officials at the opening ceremony.
