In a separate political development, MEP Adam Bielan criticized the Polish government for delays regarding the construction of a U.S. military base. Bielan claimed that a nine-month delay in authorizing actions related to the base meant that a decision from President Donald Trump might have been announced as early as September if the government had acted more promptly following high-level meetings in Washington.
