Poland vehicle registration trends show growth in cars and agricultural trailers

In July 2026, the Polish automotive and agricultural machinery markets showed diverging trends. New passenger car registrations rose by 11.8% year-on-year to 56,205 units. For the first seven months of 2026, a total of 368,253 new passenger cars were registered, representing a 9.74% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Toyota remains the market leader with a 13.91% share, followed by Skoda and Volkswagen. Notably, Chinese brands reached a record 15.5% market share, while electric vehicle popularity dipped to 4.2% in July.

In the agricultural sector, July 2026 saw 806 new agricultural trailers registered, an 81% increase from the previous month. However, the cumulative total for the last 12 months (August 2025 to July 2026) reached 5,561 units, which is 11% lower than the corresponding period in the previous year. Pronar leads the trailer market with a 28% share, despite a 21% decline in registrations compared to 2025. Other significant brands include Metal-Fach, Meprozet, Wielton, and Pomot. The used trailer market also experienced a decline, with registrations falling by 40% compared to the same period last year.
