Poland weather forecast predicts unusually warm end to year
Recent weather patterns in Poland have seen a significant drop in temperature, with some regions experiencing decreases of up to 10 degrees Celsius due to polar-maritime air masses. This shift has brought rain and strong winds, with gusts reaching up to 110 km/h near the coast.
Despite the current chill, long-term forecasts suggest a return to warmer conditions. While October is expected to remain within seasonal norms, November and December are projected to see anomalous warmth. Forecasters predict that November will be significantly warmer than historical averages, potentially extending the ‘golden autumn’ with more sun and rain instead of early snow. This trend of higher-than-average temperatures is expected to continue into December, which may result in a lack of traditional white Christmas conditions on the lowlands, with snow cover likely limited to mountainous regions.
